Morning hath broken

Like the first morning,

Blackbird hath spoken

Like the first bird.

Praise for the singing;

Praise for the morning;

Praise for them, springing

Fresh from the Word.

Sweet the rain's new fall

Sunlit from heaven,

Like the first dew fall

On the first grass.

Praise for the sweetness

Of the wet garden,

Sprung in completeness

Where God has passed.

Mine is the sunlight;

Mine is the morning,

Born of the one light

Eden saw play.

Praise with elation,

Praise every morning;

God's re-creation

Of the new day

To all of us:

September 2, 2004 (Lamentations 1:4-8--Preface and note: And it came to pass, after Israel was carried into captivity, and Jerusalem was desolate, that Jeremiah the prophet sat weeping, and mourned with this lamentation over Jerusalem, and with a sorrowful mind, sighing and moaning, he said: (Note: This preface was not written by Jeremiah but was added by the seventy interpreters, to give the reader to understand upon what occasion the lamentations were published). ("Daleth [Footnote: The verses begin with the letters of the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet, found, like numbers as signs of the divisions of the lamentations of Jeremiah. They are used similarly in alphabetical psalms, such as Psalm 118.] The ways of Zion mourn, because there are none that come to the solemn feast: all her gates are broken down: her priests sigh: her virgins are in affliction and she is oppressed with bitterness. He. Her adversaries are become her lords, her enemies are enriched; because the Lord hath spoken against her for the multitude of her iniquities: her children are led into captivity, before the face of the oppressor: Vau. And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like rams that find no pastures: and they are gone away without strength before the face of the pursuer. Zain. Jerusalem hath remembered the days of her affliction and prevarication of all her desirable things which she had from the days of old, when her people fell in the enemy's hand, and there was no helper: the enemies have seen her and have mocked at her Sabbaths. Heth. Jerusalem hath grievously sinned, therefore is she become unstable: all that honored her have despised her, because they have seen her shame: but she sighed and turned backward.)

My child, this is my present to you this day: A word of comfort from Father to child. You are Mine, and you will never be forsaken. Your nation, your land, will be chastised because it has turned away from Me. Its people have followed the wrong leaders, and even they (the leaders) have been lead astray by the insidious powers behind your government. But, as your nation is allowed to taste the fruit of its doings (as in Jeremiah's day), nevertheless, you and all who are Mine will be saved in spirit if not in body. You, and all souls which follow Me will reside in Me, trusting in Me, and knowing that I am the same I AM always, never changing, the Alpha and Omega, the Aleph and the Thau.

My child, rest in Me because there is no other place to trust. There are no businesses, no edifices, no cultures, no homes, no books, no memories, no places to cling to, to hide in, to withdraw to: except Me Who Am. I am your hiding place. You, and all who are Mine, are dead to this life, and hid away in Me. I will take care of you. I will shepherd you, and enfold you. Listen to Me. Listen and watch. You are Mine; I am yours. Stand!

September 6, 2004 (Read I Corinthians 14:36-40--"What, was it from you that the word of God went forth? Or was it unto you only that it reached? If anyone thinks that he is a prophet or a spiritual, let him recognize that the things that I am writing to you are the Lord's Commandments. If anyone ignores this, he shall be ignored. So then, brethren, desire earnestly the gift of prophesying and do not hinder the gift of speaking in tongues. Only let all things be done properly and in order.")

Dear child of My Heart, rest in Me as always I tell you to do. Things are "never as bad as they seem" when the incident is over. "It could have been worse", people say. Yet, child, there are times, as in Russia, as in Israel, as in Iraq, and in many other places, when things ARE as "bad as can be", or "as black as night". My child, I am with all who are Mine, no matter the events, no matter what happens.

I am with all who are Mine, to care for them, to comfort them, to bring them through the ordeals and the trials and the events over which there is no control. Child, the prophet who tells of unhappy things is looked upon askance. He, the prophet, is avoided on one hand, and put upon, on the other. You know that the burden is in the waiting and in the coming of all things spoken of. But the proof is in the Word of God. Does the prophet deviate from the Word? Does he go away from the commandments of God? Is he "off in left field" about the unchangeable will of God? He cannot, if he be Mine. He is Mine or not. If he is Mine than he preaches Me and My Word. He tells of Me Who Am and what I have said, and what I do say. I never change. I am the same yesterday and today. If I act in a certain way, then search your Scripture, for I have responded in the same way at another time.

When My Son came to earth out of Me, He came to reveal the forgiveness of Me. He IS the Forgiveness. He revealed the mercy of Me. He IS the Mercy. Yet, the forgiveness and mercy have always been there, revealed in Scripture; one has only to know his Scripture, the history of I Am, and man.

My child, as I go on, constantly unfolding Myself and revealing Myself to man through the saints, through the events, through the ages, I have never changed, nor have My commandments changed. Let man cling to Me and My Word. Let man hold on to the forgiveness and mercy personified in the Christ Jesus Who is Me in the facet of My Being.

Let man learn of Me NOW; for the time of many is over, and the souls of many shall be brought before Me and the soul's love shall be revealed to Me in its awareness of Me. Be aware of Me, O man, NOW, before the fact, the very true fact of your awareness after death. I love you, child, children. Remain in Me, and I remain in you.

September 12, 2004--(Read Psalm 68 [69]--Footnote: Indirectly a Messianic psalm, since two verses: 10--John 2:16 and 22--John 19:29 are quoted in the New Testament. "...I have become an outcast to my brothers, a stranger to my mother's sons because zeal for Your house consumes me, and insults of those who blaspheme You fall upon me. I humbled myself with fasting, and this was made a reproach to me. I made sackcloth my garment and I became a byword for them. They who sit at the gate gossip about me, and drunkards make me the butt of their songs. But I pray to You, O Lord, for the time of Your favor, O God! In Your great kindness answer me with Your constant help. Rescue me out of the mire; may I not sink! May I be rescued from my foes, and from the watery depths. Let not the flood-waters overwhelm me, nor the abyss swallow me up, nor the pit close its mouth over me. Answer me, O Lord, for bounteous is Your kindness; in Your great mercy turn towards me. Hide not Your face from Your servant; in My distress, make haste to answer Me. Come and ransom My life; as an answer for my enemies, redeem me. You know my reproach, my shame and my ignominy; before You are all my foes. Insult has broken my heart, and I am weak; I look for sympathy, but there was none; for comforters, and I found none. Rather they put gall in my food, and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.")

Dear child, in your heart you know why the world is so poor in spirit today in your day (the spirit of truth and wisdom): because man has abandoned Me Who Am and does not even know to call upon Me in distress. Instead, so many blame Me for all their problems. Instead of leaning on Me and waiting for My protection and comfort, many fall away from Me and despise Me in the misery of their poor judgment and their rejection of wisdom and truth. Deeper and deeper into the mire of selfishness, and into the swirling waters of sin they place themselves, forsaking all recourse for help by their own decisions.

Child, this is the sorrow of man. He falls farther and farther away from Me, and does not realize the danger to his soul. He does not realize that eternity is a long time, in fact: timelessness. The waters, in truth, come up about so many now; I have called man away from the coastlines, and begged him to move from the low places and the water tables (flood plains).

Lean on Me, My child, children. Rest in Me. Trust in Me; never leave My side; cling to Me. The days are fading away. They will be gone before notice is taken of their passing altogether. The time I have allotted to man is gone. The days of his passage on earth are shortened--to save the few who remain faithful. I will gather My own to Me while the others are gathered like tares to the fire. Into the barns go the wheat, its chaff winnowed; its substance to be ground in the mill.

But ground or whole, the wheat is Mine and serves Me. It is wheat and not weeds. It is full grain and not tares. It has followed the truth of life and not grown wild, tossed by every whim and feeling and desire. It, the wheat, has remained true to itself as I have made it. My children have not despised Me, but remained loving and obedient in the face of rejection, sorrow, and even in suffering mightily.

Child, remain standing as the tares are removed. Give love to all around you. Serve Me in beauty and truth. I do the winnowing in kindness; the grinding: in mercy. You, beloveds, shall be My finest wheat flour, My most beautiful show bread. See? Dedicated to Me, giving life and substance and light to others--glorifying Me in your happiness, your joy of service.

September 13, 2004 (Read II Maccabees 8:22-36 "...But as for that most wicked man Nicanor, who had brought a thousand merchants to the sale of the Jews, being through the help of the Lord brought down by them, of whom he had made no account, laying aside his garment of glory, fleeing through the midland country, he came alone to Antioch, being rendered very unhappy by the destruction of his army. And he that had promised to levy the tribute for the Romans by the means of the captives of Jerusalem, now professed that the Jews had God for their protector, and therefore they could not be hurt, because they followed the Laws appointed by Him.")

My child, you have obliged Me to come close to you by your prayers, your faith that I would do so. Of course it is My will that you obliged Me. It is My will to come close to one who clings to Me. Judas Machabeus clung to Me, obeying Me, and trusting in Me to deliver the army of Nicanor into his hands. I was obliged by his faith in Me Who Am.

Child, you are Mine and all who love are Mine. I will bring them through the wind and flood. I will keep them in soul if not in body. This is the promise always to those whom I love, and who love Me. Resting in Me, they will overcome all enemies, even their own weaknesses and sin, through the strength of the grace of Jesus Christ their Redeemer, and the One Who leads them to the victory in this life. All knees will bend to Him when each day comes to each man: the day of recognition for every man: be he believer or non-believer in his life on earth. It is better to be Mine now, and oblige Me to one who steps out in faith in Me; than to NOT be Mine, fall into My hands, and still be obliged to glorify Me in defeat as Nicanor had to do.

Cling to Me in love and obedience to goodness, My children; be under My protection. Do not be an enemy of Love, but be under the Mercy of Love: Me Who am your FatherSonSpirit.

September 15, 2004 (Read 1st Epistle of St. Peter, Chapter 1--"...You know that you were redeemed from the vain manner of life handed down from your fathers, no with perishable things, with silver or gold, but with the precious Blood of Christ, as a Lamb without blemish and without spot. Fore known, indeed, before the foundation of the world, He has been made manifested in the last times for your sakes. Through Him you are believers in God Who raised Him up from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.")

My child, children, these are the last times, Christ having come and given Himself for you and all who love. I Am Who Am is your God and your Father. You are My children who, in these last days, since Christ came, have put all your faith and hope in Me. Child, children, do you think two thousand years is a long "last times"? It is not long in My sight and for the sake of all who are Mine. But now, the time is speeded up and the moments are dangerous for soul and body. The devil rages like a lion to deliver man into hell; and the way is hard and unrelenting for those who are Mine to come to Me. Many souls will come to Me before they are ready. Pray for them. Rest in Me all along the way. Trust in Me throughout hardship and sorrow. I am with you, lightening the burden, easing the yoke, guiding the foot. The Blood of Christ is your protective mantle, and the grace and mercy of Christ: your sure way. I am with you always, unto the end.

September 20, 2004 (Read II Corinthians 4-- "...For we know that He Who raised up Jesus will raise up us also with Jesus, and will place us with you. For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which abounds through the many may cause thanksgiving to abound, to the glory of God. Wherefore we do not lose heart. On the contrary, even though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For our present light affliction, which is for the moment, prepares for us an eternal weight of glory that is beyond all measure; while we look not at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen. For the things that are seen are temporal, but the things that are not seen are eternal.)

My child resting in Me, you are Mine and I am yours. This is a very great thing, a miracle occurring over and over again in all who are Mine. All who are Mine--ARE Mine. And all who love--are Mine. This is the beginning of the kingdom of God on earth. It is the beginning IN you, My children, and the beginning ON earth. You bring the kingdom within you, and you live the kingdom according to My grace which you permit yourselves to show to the world, in action. Resting in Me, My child, children, can show much.

You, beloveds, are able more and more (according to the trust you give Me) to glorify Me in word and action. Your action is the following of My Son Jesus, in the example He has shown in love and forgiveness. You must keep forgiving. You must remain loving, with compassionate hearts, and helping hands; and the Word always in your minds to strengthen you and give you courage to stand fast. Pray always.

September 22, 2004 (Isaiah 13:9-13 [Prophesy of the ruin of Babylon] "...Behold the day of the Lord shall come, a cruel day, and full of indignation, and of wrath, and fury, to lay the land desolate, and to destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and their brightness shall not display their light: the sun shall be darkened in his rising, and the moon shall not shine her light. And I will visit the evils of the world, and against the wicked for their iniquity: and I will make the pride of the infidels to cease, and will bring down the arrogancy of the mighty. A man shall be more precious than gold, yea, a man than the finest of gold. For this I will trouble the heaven: and the earth shall be moved out of her place, for the indignation of the Lord of hosts, and for the day of His fierce wrath.")

Dear child, the tower of Babel has been re-erected in the world, the whole world. Hidden forces are moving to unite the whole world into one economic being. The power will be to the mighty, and to the infidel. And who is the infidel in My eyes? Those who are against the God of Abraham, Isaac and the Messiah, the Christ: Jesus of Nazareth. Child, Babylon shall fall. It shall, as the ancient city, be no more. The new tower of Babel shall be no more. The power of the mighty and the infidel shall be broken in that day. The power shall be taken away in that day of the Lord of hosts.

That day is coming, and is almost here. In this, your day, I see it rushing towards you, My child, children. It will not pass you by. You will be swept by it as by a mighty wave. You will see the day of My wrath as it comes and then passes. I will hold you in the palm of My hand. Your knees shall quake, but the fear will not overcome you because of your love for Me. I will hold you in My right hand while my left shall annihilate the evil ones.

Child, you have clung to My mercy and love. You have tried to forgive all. You cling to Me, beloved, and have trusted Me in all things. Remember the goodness of the Lord your God in the wicked days that come, and are already here in your land. Remember that, in the end, I will triumph and I will cleanse and make new the earth.

All who live are Mine. It is to each man's betterment to know that I, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of the Christ Jesus, AM God. There is no other.

Rest in Me until the great day, the awful day which rushes toward the Babylon of the earth, the power of the mighty. This Babylon of power shall be destroyed utterly. Its dark light shall be put out. The earth will move and the darkness be thick on the face of man. My own will know and see (those who are left), and the light of My Light shall shine; and then, the day of My Day will come into being. A new Day.

September 27, 2004 (Jeremiah 13:15-17--"Here ye, and give ear: be not proud, for the Lord hath spoken. Give ye glory to the Lord your God, before it be dark, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountain you shall look for light, and He will turn it into the shadow of death, and into darkness. But if you will not hear this, My soul shall weep in secret for your pride: weeping it shall weep, and My eyes shall run down with tears, because the flock of the Lord is carried away captive.")

Child, this is a beginning of the sorrows in your land. Head over heals they come. One upon another will these sorrows arrive. Prayer and repentance do I ask for. There are none who should be without repentance. All need My help and My forgiveness. There is not one who is free of sin. All must come before Me in prayer, repentance, and in love for Me and for his fellow man.

My child, a broken and contrite heart will be set in joy by My love and forgiveness. A foot turned in the direction of My will and My Law will be put upon a right path and upon a firm foundation. A broken spirit and a tearful eye, I will not ignore. I have said that: for some, it is the most difficult thing to allow even one drop of the precious Blood of Christ to touch them; and so it is the hardest of hearts which will resist My grace and My forgiveness. They will not serve Me. They serve themselves and the evil one. This will be the sorrow of this evil age: that some will reject, and in their rejection will continue to crucify My Son in their own lives of sin and willfulness.

This willfulness leads into darkness, piling sin upon sin, and adding sorrow to sorrow. A black pit yawns before them from which escape comes only in needing Me, and turning to Me in repentance and in the recognition of My right and ability to care for them. It is the most difficult thing in the world for these lost ones to acknowledge the need, the dire need of My authority over their lives. They believe My direction, My Law, is dull death to their own rights and their own will. They wallow in misery and fall deeper into sin and do not see the pig pen of their lives, the sorrow of their loneliness--without Me Who Am Love.

I will take away the props. I will give them (and all) the reason to turn to Me: there will be no place else to go. All will be suffering. All will be desolation. All will be sad and sorrowful. There will be only the quest for survival, and the search for Me Who Am Love.

My child, children, in this great suffering, of which you shall indeed share in your own ways, you shall be able to point to Me, pray for them, and glorify My holy will by the acceptance of suffering and sorrow for the sake of the salvation and conversion of your fellow man, and ultimately for the sake of your dear Savior Jesus of Nazareth Who suffered for you.

How many have gone before you child, children, in each and every age, carrying the small light of love into the darkness. This Light, this Love, casts the glow of My Being into the lives, into the fate, of others; changing, in perhaps the most minute and seemingly insignificant ways, their perception of life itself and My position in it.

Child, children, eternity is, and the entryway (the gate) to it is full of the ailing of mind and body. They crowd the door, these hard of heart and ignorant of holiness. Pass among them with love and forebearance. Be an example of decency and hope in the face of destruction and loss. Rest in Me. Cling to Me. Give them Me.

September 29, 2004 (Read Galatians 5:13-26--"But the fruit of the Spirit is: charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, modesty, continency. Against such things there is no law. And they who belong to Christ have crucified their flesh with its passions and desires. If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk. Let us not become desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another."

My child, resting in Me, you read My Word and, leaning on Me, you understand the importance of continuing to read My Word so that it is imprinted on your soul, in your mind. Let My children become familiar with Holy Scripture, so that even some favorite passages become known to each, and able to be remembered in moments of need in the face of calamity and sorrow; and, even in moments of joy and remembrance of Me each ordinary day. Those who remember Me during ordinary days will be served by Me during adversity. I will remember them when they call on Me in sorrows.

Come away from the worldly ways, My children, and enter into the rest of My Spirit (Rest: trust and peace of belonging entirely to God). Withdraw from the ways of contentions and quarrels. Bring your spirit away from the former circles of excitement which bring no peace. Instead, turn to family, if such are Mine, and to the quietness and silence in which I speak. Turn off your radios and televisions; turn to the Holy Bible and refresh your spirit. Refresh, and come closer to Me now, before time disappears entirely. For when time runs out, and there is only chaos, you must be able to turn (having already turned in earlier times) immediately to Me. Thus, avoiding panic and depression, and imprudence; for by cling to Me at ALL times, you will be able to meet each unhappy event in your lives with fortitude and faith.

I am always with you, even when you do not think of Me, nor care to learn about Me. Open your Bibles now, My children, and learn of Me, while I am found. Rest, trust in Me, in quiet and in chaos. I move within your spirit, calling, coaxing you to follow Me when all is calm. Do it now, so that you will be able to follow in the darkness that comes. I love you, My child, children. Listen to your Father and follow your Brother Who is your Lord Jesus, My Son.
